For anyone like me who didn't know what airdrive is I can confirm that its nothing to do with the holes in the bulkhead. These got an onboard compressor below the load bed running off the pto. The grill at the front protects an oil cooler mounted in front of the rad. Apparently they were used on road maintenance and were handy for small jobs.

Also found a pic of this one looking much the same in 2010.

My dad had one of similar vintage and it was rotten by 1987.  Shame this one is too far gone as the number of RHD pre facelift 128s must be down to low single figures

Ditto - dad bought a brand new 4 door in 1981 - 1300 - great engine but despite Fiat UK doing rust repairs under warranty, when it started rusting in the windscreen surround, he sold it and went back to Renaults
