A Fiesta "SeaSpray", one of Ford's "things you need to keep this car away from" series.

As well as maintenance, tappet adjustment* and Roger Bell.

My eyes nearly popped out my head when I saw this advertised in the local rag.

Anyone know anything about them? It looks mini based with a body built by Reliant according to what I can find on the interwebz.

I recon this is a better picture of the same car.

There's even a film made about them!

Who posted the Cadillac earlier?  Damn you, I've been forced to put that on my watch list.  It's an awful colour, the engine points the wrong way, I really don't need any more cars, but..... it's still a Cadillac!  Anyone want a Volvo?

The gold BX was on our club stand. Rumour was he'd sold it to KGF 'white booth' Classics at the show. Seems that didn't happen. Hard to price is really as I don't know of another. It is absolutely stunning.

I could just about fathom the price if it was a minter than mint 16 valve. Or maybe I've missed the point entirely. After all, having your car photographed in a white room is something we should all* aspire to.

Not sure about the 'toe bar' or what look like urine patches on that drivers seat re: white Torslanda.

Someone should buy this and fit ERA Turbo running gear to it.

I mean, I know it's not done in BoB style, but still.........

My money's on it being some kind of obscure Hino. A learned truck driving mate of mine said that Hinos are apparently 'for the Irish', whatever that's supposed to mean.

I love early RX-7s. I don't care if they're slow, or handle badly (and apparently they're guilty on both accounts), I just want to own one for a while, before bankruptcy occurs.

Can't say I care for the Elford Turbo skirts on it, mind.

It's a Fiat, it was for sale about two years ago for around £5k and I constructed an entire fantasy world around the idea of buying it, painting it in proper colours and driving all over the world collecting obscure tat on the back.

Actually Wuvs, you should definitely buy it

Please tell me that you are no-where near Devon. After seeing that and watching the film, i can only think of one car that I want more than an Elswick Envoy.

Besides my dad has been going on for ages about how I should get a Mini because everyone should at least try one, so to turn up sat in a plastic garden chair in an Elswick would be priceless.

Just noticed you're in Scotland, so no where near Devon. Still it would make for an epic tat collection thread...

RE: that truck. It's a Fiat 625, and here are three photographs that illustrate perfectly what I am on about

Bo11's post earlier sent me looking at FlexiMinis.  Those roofs will never cease to be amusing.

Here's one...

$T2eC16V,!zcE9s4g3MW2BR-fIdDQh!~~60_12.J

Drive one of these with the roof like that and you'll soon learn why drag racers don't start the race with the parachute open.

Oh, and even though this is being sold by a trader:

just needs a few jobs to put through MOT

SUCH AS WHAT
WHY HAVEN'T YOU DONE THEM

Here's one more,

$_12.JPG

I'm worried someone's going to buy it just to nab the nifty custom dash:

$_12.JPG

BUYER MUST COLLECT BEFORE MY GRANDMA NOTICES THE TOP OF HER PIANO IS MISSING

Caution though:

NEEDS FINISHING

But be reassured:

HAS AN ENGINEERS REPORT FROM ADRIAN FLUX FOR CONVERTIBLE STATUS

NO V5 BUT THERE IS A GREEN SLIP WITH CONVERTIBLE ON IT

I hope these two documents aren't one and the same.

Finally, there's this nice one (relatively), which I'm only including because the seller keeps saying

wooden picket

$(KGrHqJ,!r!FJ1H1!Ee5BSe3C5DZDQ~~60_12.J

Also I think I counted 45 press studs you'd have to do up when it rains.

IN SUMMATION: Don't cut the roof off your Mini.
