My go-to person for EVs commented the following on being shown that advert;

"The Allied Electric EV conversions were built for Glasgow City Council.

They were a complete nightmare: badly designed, poorly constructed, never worked properly, unsupported, undocumented.

It takes a lot to discourage me from taking on a hopeless project, but I would draw the line at an Allied EV!"

I don't get the hierarchy of these. 

Shirley they're all 1.4 turbo and Fiat just upped the boost on the 'posh' ones? Which means they'll go pop sooner.

The mid-level door stripe/s need fucking right off, and somehow it looks weird with silver wheels against the green paint. I'd still bum its tits off though.
