Ah bless. "It's a damn good car so bid"! Even if that were true, it's amazing that he hasn't given up by now. With all the fees he must be paying ebay, he's probably going to be worse off advertising it 89 times and then getting £300 or whatever for it, than saving the fees and bridging it.

This is pretty interesting - guy buys this new in 1972, has it race prepped. Then in 1982 parks it in his garage in eager anticipation of a free listings weekend on eBay...

I'm almost certain I took a picture of that primered Rover years ago. I used to live in Kirkby, where the guy says it is, and there was a blue 200 on an S plate up the road. Got paint stripper chucked over it one night, so the next day it had been painted in what appeared to be white primer - same method of attack, all over the windows and everything. Same town, same model, same year, same half-arsed job..... gotta be it.
