How menacing does this look without brightwork? I love it, I'd be cleaning it up and running like this.

This is a Morris Oxford which the crew of TV's Heartbeat have rebadged as an Austin Cambridge.

It is a diesel. But it is not one of the original diesels...

The Diesel engine was because there was an episode with a 1967 1500 Diesel J4 camper in, but when filming inside it was to noisy so they swapped engine with the Oxford and just didn't bother to swap back.

Awesome - I was put off that Axiam Sity earlier because of its pathetic 40mph top speed, maybe this diesel A60 will fulfil my economic speed needs.

45mph tops due to gearing

Ah, fuck it I'll lease a Twizy.

I prefere modern stuff it would appear

Yeah, I don't know if this was the best introduction to classics. I say I don't like moderns, but it's not because I bought a 2012 Focus which a TV company had put a canal barge engine in with so much torque it renders 1st gear unusable.

I love it when people manage to get others in the background in eBay pictures.

It's usually an eclectic mix of shirtless morons, disinterested bints and thuggish looking kids loitering around.

How did you find out?

Tucked away in the 'Trucks' section with very few viewers, this Holden 1 Tonner is an absolute peach.

Wish I knew what the reserve was, though at $5000 (about £2.5k), it's already too salty for me. Gawky looks, floor shift manual, period colour and purposefully widened wheels all do it for me. Loving the tray/tailored tarp combo - much better than modern placca efforts.

Today's pointless picture award

They probably just wanted to prove that there's a bit of the car that isn't rusty.

Final year for that lush blue CM Chrysler.

The Holden Statesmens win the longevity game as they went into the mid-Eighties

That is sweet, I must say. Does look like it's getting pricey.

It's nice to see shite is alive an well in New Zealand.  There must be loads of tat in behind sheds in rural areas.
