WHOOOA......Absolutely loving that. The Etheridge Brothers who built that were very well known custom car builders in the 70's. They did a Pontiac Trans Am in much the same style in 78 but with more subtle (for the Etheridge's) body mods called Celistial (not sure on the spelling sorry).

That's a bit of custom history there and worth every penny.............IF it's your thing.lol.

70s British Customs and Hot Rods - especially the ones with some pedigree - have a surprisingly strong following among some kind of artsy fartsy types who consider them art. I'd be not surprised if it actually fetches something in the proximity of the asking price, considering it looking very restorable.

Some Rover V8 powered T Bucket built by Andy Robinson in the 70s, that had fallen on hard times lately, was recently auctioned off at Bonham's for well over 20k.

This is not the first time I saw something like this happen.
