It's a small world Mr B,i went out to that Scorpio back in the summer when the starter motor died.

 

It is a very clean unmolested car,but not sure its worth that.

I seem to have dropped the person selling the GSA estate an email. If they want actual money though, I might be struggling. But yes, I'd be mad enough to try and drive home from Southampton in a car with a fuel and LHM leak...

Yes, I can understand the authorities not wanting to allow something that looks so spectacularly shit to be used on public roads in case it provokes civil unrest etc.

Few years back one of these came up on eBay for beer money with a smashed back window. I tried all the 'glass experts' I could find but none of them even knew what car I was taking about.

I was going to lob a pic of one of these on our extinct cars thread. Glad you saved me the embarassment of looking like a mongtard again.

Pug 205 turbo diesel, amazingly my 205 (non turbo) diesel was incredibly reliable, it was also terribly slow.  This could be the cure for one of those issues, possibly both

Unintentional comedy award: on the downside,

 

Selling as non runner as needs new engine, conn rod went through the engine whilst driving.

 

whilst on the upside,

 

Car has already had head gasket replaced before we bought.

No worries there regarding OMGHGF, then.

Doubtless this has been asked (and answered ) before. But WTF is the reason for the awful, almost unreadable font used by some sellers on eBay? The kind of thing where all the lines merge together.

About as readable as the CAPTCHA thingy on websites...

Left hooker diesel S-Class as never sold in the UK. It looks rough as a badgers ball sack and probably smells the same given the state of the povo spec interior. 

You could probably use it to a-frame some shite back from Southern France with ease at 120mph though.

Why do so many old Mercs have these steering wheels made from polished Daim bar centres?

 

I know how difficult this is to believe for someone even just slightly junior to me,

but this was indeed as fashionable as mullets, striped taper jeans and zebra-pattern saccos

with padded shoulders and the sleeves rolled up.

You should see how chic* it looks in a Granada Ghia MKIII.
