I do like these old flat-front Saabs.  What's going on with the extra gauge on top of the dash though?  I assumed it's a tachometer as there's a big clock next to the speedo where Saab should have fitted one, but why is it showing eleventy-thousand rpm?!

I can't get the Ebay link for that Saab, just the pics but I'd say that's probably a vacuum gauge. If it had been a turbo then it might be a boost gauge but I don't think that's a turbo.

Simple aide-memoir.

EBAY TAT THREAD - for interesting old tat for sale at a reasonable price

EBAY "BARGAINS" - for interesting old tat for sale at an inflated, unrealistic price

COMMUNAL EBAY THREAD - for AS members' own stuff (not necessarily cars) which they are flogging.

Hope this helps!

Blimey. Don't think that Renault 15 was owned for long. Imported last year IIRC, then took AGES to sell, not helped by a surprising number of RHD examples coming out of the woodwork. It is proper ace though.

That Renault 15 looks like it's equipped with te amazing ergonomic seats with the spring loaded under thigh cushions. Shame they've covered them up with the skin of the cookie monster!
