Making my debut in the e-Bay tat thread with some clippings from this weeks Classic Car Weekly.

Not my cup of tea but this has got to find some love on here.

Or much more to my tastes (Shame I don't have a degree in electrical engineering)...

Let us know how you get on, I really have the horn for it but don't have the cojones to tackle a major project involving electrics

I literally have no idea how electrics work on any car, let alone a French one. But fuck it, its £600. I would happily park the fucker outside my house with it never working again. I would polish it whilst pretending to be Marcus Tandy. If Doovla ever found out about it I would blow the fucker up and sail away on a boat glass someone in a pub and then shag Casandra off of Only Fools and Horses.

Nope it was a genuine sale. Sold last week unfortunately not to me.

Seller's phone has rung off the hook apparently and he has muttered the "sold it too cheap" words....

This looks pretty nice. Green with brown velour interior isn't a colour scheme you see that much these days.

Not unlike those vile chocolate lime sweets that my Grandparents' Bridge playing partners, Ken and Mary, used to keep in a dish on the table by the phone in their hallway. Filth.

600 quid for a renault GTA, that must be half the price of the next cheapest one ever to change hands!!!

I was going to say I'd be surprised if you hadn't tried to snap that up all ready. Even if it was a basket case it would have broken for more than that.

Regardless of condition, £1500 seems rather ambitious for an Mpi. Watched one sell on Ebay for less than £400 when I was Disco hunting. The people working on the Discovery test team absolutely hated them.
