Brodders Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 But if it were my money, an SD1 would be the hatchback Rover of choice. 2300 is unusual to see about, but this looks alright (bar the sunroof issue) and has had a decent amount of work done on it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rover-sd1-2300-auto-1982-y-please-see-listing-for-details-1-years-mot-no-reserve/233188911838?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20160908105057&meid=9dcb4973b2b546e5a3504b82ef7238e0&pid=100675&rk=1&rkt=15&mehot=pp&sd=233188911838&itm=233188911838&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci:3c112035-597d-11e9-8e52-74dbd180b148%7Cparentrq:f9bb67d31690a88aef60b70cfff3e84c%7Ciid:1&redirect=mobile Burnside, BeEP, Remspoor and 3 others 6
Brodders Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Apparently only 18000 on the clock for this early 416 GSi. Tadhg Tiogar Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 They'll never be worth what the DSs are worth. And I say that as a CX owner. The other problem is that DS survivors outnumber CXs here and have greater recognition - by contrast, only about 160 of all RHD CX types still on the road in the last year. Parts prices are (or will be) a major discouragement if your only source turns out to be CX-Basis. Some of the classic car magazines have been talking up CXs since at least 2014, but that's had little or no discernable effect on values as far as I can see. Right so, errm..... let's see whether he gets his asking price, shall we....? ProgRocker and richardmorris 2
