I really like how these look, they're seriously handsome machines and I do get the rarity/desirability of them, but 12 large ones for a 20 year old Audi with 130,000 on the clock?? Pretty sure this has been on sale for quite a long time.

The car was last started 3 years ago (yes I know I've been lazy).........there is no battery in it and I don't intend to put one in. Also the number plate is private and I want to keep it so I will get it re-registered

As someone has very kindly informed me I can't change the reg without an MOT so looks like i'm going to have to let it go. Not a happy geezer but hey ho. It cost me £250. I'm still going to ring the DVLA and give them some stick. Doubt I'll get anywhere

 

Yeah that right, abuse the DVLA, that'll defo encourage them to help you, after all theres any number of other organisations who will change your reg no. for you

 

After speaking/arguing with the DVLA I have been told I can't keep my number plate (which I paid them for in the first bloody place) unless I tax and MOT the car, so the number plate will come with it. J99 CMH

That's not the toilet tank. The bog is the bit on the left. At a guess that’s from the sink?

 

That's the tank for the flush water. If there's no flush fluid (usually the pink stuff) in there, it's just fresh water. Washing your hands with it is a pretty weird thing to do though - that little valve's purpose is to drain the tank, not for hand washing.

 

If you're pissed/wacky enough to buy the thing, there's deal you probably shouldn't shake hands on...

Now this is seriously brilliant, an SN1 kit car!!! This is one you used to see advertised in the old Filby kit car mags, but the ads only ever contained a drawing not a photo of a finished car, leading one to reasonably assume they hadn't got as far as completing one yet!!!! I would love this as a nod to those days of utterly shit kit cars. Goes on a (non-shortened) beetle chassis.

Baking tray as a bonnet bulge is always good news in my eyes, this must be pre non-stick days cos they seem to have managed to get paint to hang on to it
