Daimler V8 250 which celebrates it's 50th birthday tomorrow morning according to DVLA.

MOT & tax exempt, obv. Two hubcaps inside the car too.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAIMLER-V8-250/192781227249?hash=item2ce2a814f1:g:C7oAAOSw~atcMMdc&redirect=mobile

If that’s its original plate, it’s lying about its age by about 4 years.

It’s my 50th this year too. Wonder if I’ll look like that the day after.

^ I thought Daimler's a 65 C-plate at first too but it's a late one on a 69 G-plate.

I hope you also have saved searches for Ford Contour and Mercury Mystique Schaefft :-).

I thought about it before. :-D

Probably doesn't know how to use eBay messaging.

Also: if anyone cares to ignore "Arafwch nawr" road markings in the correct marque of motorised carriage, there are no less than FOUR Gilberns up for grabs on the 'bay at the moment.

CBA posting pics or links though, got work to do...

I’m sensing the Spanish think of the departed as a category of minicab fare, while the French mainly regard them as freight.

Oh, Sir would like a smaller engine and a touch more bodywork?

Then try this 1916 American LaFrance Roadster, just 14 litres.

Sir will have to dig a bit deeper though, this one's £110,000...

I'm not so worried about the lack of bodywork on that first one, but something more substantial than air between that drive chain and my right elbow would be welcome.

Broken E90 for a monkey.  Seller is from east of Ipswich and his grasp of English is even more limited than his grasp of photography, but it seems the engine won't start - I don't know if these are the ones that do their camchains at the drop of a hat?

Another one for the "if it were nearer" pile.

I'm trying to work out if that is my old one that I owned back in 1985 ish when I lived in Chippenham. I can't remember the registration, but it looks very familiar apart from the lack of a blue driver's door, which it sported during my ownership.

Grey import Roadie (or "Gemma" in its native country apparently).  I had one identical to this about 20 years ago.  3-speed auto 'box made it a bit more interesting to ride than the usual CVT scooter, although it wasn't exactly quick and didn't really handle either.

I will be content in knowing I have absolutely made it in life when I'm towing one of these back from France with an Avantime.

A car that could go hillariously wrong in true Renner style, causing much bankruptcy to its owner, with a bonus nervous breakdown thrown in for free LOL
