Ebay is being trolled with hundreds of fake ads on a daily basis now, and the Ebay dolts are obviously too stinky to do anything about it.

One needs a fine enough comb to turn up proper rammel as is, hence I can no longer be arsed to sift through a sea of spam.

EBay was nice as long as it lasted, but it had its day.

Completely agree, pretty much given up looking at the classic car section now, every other bloody advert is a scam.

Happy to go thirds/quarters on asking price + 2 months of VED + 1 day insurance, on basis that we are buying to roffle on here.

 

I'd be a sleeping partner though, as can not collect.

In fairness, it comes in waves. Sometimes they are removed instantly but more often they hang around for a little while. If, like me, you browse by 'recently listed' you get pages and pages of scam listings (I think the worst day was the first 20 pages, every listing a scam) as they're all added within a few seconds of each other. It's frustrating, but not impossible to ignore. I'd love to meet the thicko who actually fell for one of these things once and inspired this whole trend.
