-might be my ideal car. Honda themselves use to swap the prelude and accord nose cones around on various sedans, hatches and coupes, especially in the USA.

When these American Aerodeck's were current I used to think they were the most refined car this side of an LS400 or XJ12. They weren't cheap though, 520i/230e money , which is why there aren't many around.

They certainly did with the previous-gen Accord:

Not so sure about the later ones. Who cares? I think they look great, have considered them in the past as an alternative to the Camry (though I doubt they'd be as big inside).

THEY did a v6 as standard with the beam rear axle. So hardly a major engine swap.

Now what would be interesting is a Gsi 4x4

Which had the IRS, converted to V6. WHAT WOULD be more interesting again would be taking all the as ancillaries of the 2.5 or 2.6 and getting an omega 3.2 as nd swapping it all over into a Gsi shell. With 4x4 and IRS

Why advertise a car with an engine swap, then neglect to take a photo of the engine bay? The mind boggles.

Because

I always fancied doing a V6 Manta but all the Manta boys were into XEs, LETs and Senny/Carlton 24Vs.

The more I see of those Viewts, the more I think I should try one.  Am I getting old, or just senile?

I`ve always wanted to remodel one to actually look like a Mk2, it would involve a 3" roof chop though..

Hope not, I like them as well. I use to see one down in North Dorset occasionally and always liked* the look.

I know you ain't old (unless I am too!) and you definitely ain't senile....but you would probably stop wanting one when you got inside it :-D
