£195 surely. </1996>

My uncle had several series 2 SD1s in the mid 1990s which he bought for around £200 each. As you can probably guess, they were end of life vehicles even then.

What the actual fuck?

This appears to be on sale for £1, both in the listing price and the description.

?????

EDIT: there are several more recent trucks in there for the same price. Must be some sort of spammish listing.

eBay is truly bizarre. Any truck or commercial (i.e HGV) trailer seems able to be listed for £1, with contact details on the advert. Christ alone know why.

This is the worst ad for a car sale I have seen in a long time.

Then you haven't seen his other ads yet!

Ah...C2GND is a Mercedes 1999 E55...pity its not on its original plate and log book and then (in tenuous theory) would be tax and mot exempt.

If it is significantly altered, which it is, it'd not be MoT exempt.

This is the first step of a super-common scam over here. You call up and some woman gives the speil about it being the husband/sons pride and joy but he died and she cant bear etc etc doesnt want the money, just wants it to go to a good home. It then devolves into the usual "Its actually in Belguim.....shipping agent blah blah please send your details etc etc" scam

Always trucks, excavators, tractors and stuff like that.

That Allegro appears to be 'on the run' LOL

Yea, that'd be me. I sold it for about £680 around 3 or 4 years ago. I got shot because the clutch was heavy enough to make my achilles tendon  smart in traffic and only Sachs seemed to have clutch for it at about the same price as the cars value. It also was pig to start after  a hot switch off, possibly injectors. Had a better shell than my current 1989 944 mind.

Not that I'm really in the market, but do you think it's fair value at the current £1550 bid?

Probably, though it was bid to £2100 and not collected then relisted  at £1800 with no bids recently. It has done less than 500 miles in the 4 years since I sold it so probably still needs a clutch, though I see Frazier Sport now sell them at £150. PM me if you want to know anything else.

I don't think this is spam/scam - they just don't want to tell you their prices.

On their website everything is listed as "POA" - since presumably you can't do that on ebay, they have put £1

I have no idea what the fuck they think they are doing - maybe trying to be Sir fuckin Alan "let's negotiate" Sugar or something.
