Little 70's Puglet is making me weak at the knees. Mrs Dustman was looking over my shoulder while I drooled and said "NO!"

GIB, ffs!

Advisory notice item(s)

  • car has some play in steering
  • some body rust under car
If only we had some people driving back from Bulgaria?

Bulgaria.

The undiscovered pearl in a sea of snot, where cars neither rust nor develop play in their steering components.

Lack of parking space/garage/currency forces my hand more so than Mrs D, especially as it looks like I'm going to be forking out a few hundred quid getting the Saab fixed. Again.

Anyone good at maths explain how a £750 car that probably needs £1000+ of chassis welding with £500's worth of shit thrown onto it is worth £4,995?

It's in Skizzer's neck of the woods.

I said Skizzer!

I hear you Brother Junkman - but meh, why would I want a 1.8 GL when there’s a 2.2i CD on the market, with velour? http://autoshite.com/topic/29808-1985-opel-rekord-22-cdi-manual-£1995-stoke-on-trent/

Skizzer delivery service available to M4 corridor though (*cough* RobT *cough*).

That XJ40 Daimler 2x6 has gone right on my watchlist, mind you.

Missing a trick with their advertising here. All you need is a parking permit for Mayfair and this'd be worth about £11,000,000 to some daft sod who'd live in it.

This makes me sad.  It needs to be in the Grumpy thread, that's how sad.

These are just relentlessly shit in every way.  If I'd never driven one I wouldn't now have a bad back.  Nearly six years with the fecker, and I wasn't even driving it every day!

I did spend ages looking at the ad, in particular that rear number plate, but no. Got one too many already at the moment!
