My mechanic has a known good VVT engine out of a MGF he scrapped, been sat on the workshop floor for 3 years, I was seriously tempted to ask him about fitting it into a metro but even at £30 an hour I think the costs would run away , I bet it'd be a right laugh to drive though

Is there any way at all you could make a house in the back of one of these and avoid looking like a crusty juggler?

It must be possible to do a decent paint job and somehow manage to look like an appealing, interesting old truck surely. Mind you I can't see these two achieving it:

If that didn't work, search earth family on YouTube and you will find our channel

I did have a look and was unsurprised to find a classic 'well-spoken crusty juggler type' prodding feebly at this truck's damp bits with a screwdriver, clearly not knowing even where to start. Amusingly he points out that he bought it before realising his driving licence does not cover him for driving it. Sure enough here's the truck on eBay a year later with absolutely JACK done on it!

Can you actually do anything at all with one of these things in this country. I suppose you could probably watch telly while sitting in the M6 traffic but could you even get it anywhere near a town like Keswick or Buxton or something? I suspect not. All you could do is park up at a truckstop somewhere and watch all the Latvian drivers shitting in the bushes.

Don’t look as good in real life

Blimey it must be grim.

we recommend recovery to get it away.

I recommend chopping the fucker into pieces and using a big skip to get it away

I think you could get it in both Keswick and Buxton at the same time, its fecking massive.

has 60bhp 4203...

Shouldn’t be a problem, I bet that’s 60bhp more than Reg Bollox’s current house.

I was looking at this last year before I bought the 202. The thing that put me off was the rust bubbles on the roof by the tailgate hinge. I bet there won't be much metal there if you poked it.

Here's a side of the road job I just spotted near Catford. Mingebag spec 1.3, which really does seem to have 30000 miles on it unless it was clocked before 2006 or has had haircuts every year. Paint's flat, couple of dents, and the front bumper seems to have been rattlecanned, it's all flaking off. However the sills and arches are in near miraculous condition as far as I could see from the outside.

If anyone fancies it I'd be happy to assist.

That's not flying off the shelf, I quite liked it when I first saw it. The vendor says he was going to put a Cosworth engine in it, but that now he's selling it instead, carb just needs adjusting look you.

We've all been there, such a highly skilled job turning the idle screw that the only fix is a 'Cossie'.
