I had one of those for 10 months!  It was mattish black (largely due to the fact they'd blown over it with primer)  :-D

 

Bought it from a place called Knackers and Crackers back in the day.  It had a screen price of £165 but I beat him down to £150!

 

Had a great little 1.4l engine that was as sweet as a nut and the weirdest dual ratio gear box with two gear sticks giving you in effect, 8 forward gears!

You could change between high and low ratios whilst moving too!

 

Ran it until the mot expired and then flogged it to an apprentice mechanic and his younger brother for £100!

 

Never missed a beat, but it trashed my mom's tarmac drive, due to its likening to the Exxon Valdez!

 

Ahhh, happy days...
