As aesthetically pleasing as writing the names of everyone in your crew on the side of Westminster Abbey, in faeces

Low mileage or not, it's laughably over priced.

Who was it who told 95% of 205 sellers they have a car worth £1000 plus? Or was it just guessing based on the GTi values?

I have genuinely never seen a regular spec car sell for 4 figures. Ever.

Also, they aren't rare.

err the driver is responsible by law for ensuring the car is road legal. MOT or not that looks like it will fold in half if both doors open at the same time. I suspect that plod will take a different view to the law

Hence me saying I'm not condeming the seller, he's stated the law, but in saying as much he's insinuating it's good to go when the reality is it's probably fucked.

it is this kind of shit (as in terminally rotton old bangers) that brought about the MoT in the first place :D

and I dont think the seller is stating the law. if that mota is not fit to use on the road then the law is being broken

Apparently the cost of a new clutch, 4 injectors and lots of suspension bits didn't make them give up on this, but a turbo and a wheel bearing has. Turbo rebuild kit is £30 on ebay, WCPGW.

They fucked up the phone number on the boot lid though. Aberdeen area code is 01224, not 0224.

Most area codes changed to 01 in 1995. This ties in with Callanders not being around for a long time, late '90s I'd have thought.

Well that explains HMC's mysterious comment earlier then. Thanks! :D

That's a familiar looking interior... Wrong engine though.

Ghia X interior is very nice. I'm growing to like mine more and more.

I've not seen any Mk3 Mondeos in that shade of red before. It's rather fetching.

I'm even more drawn to the Aussie Quints with a Brit badge.
Were they also badged-up at the Suzuka plant, or upon arrival?

Because of the price of OSF tax I'm glad this is already making strong money, plus it needs some work. Mine had rotten underneath the kit, but I had it all done and still regret selling it.

They all were rotten underneath the kit IIRC

Maybe you should top bid it and realise your dream again*
