You know when you're at your new squeeze's parents house, trying to hold in a fart and a little squeak emits? That's what this bus's face looks like.

That looks strangely familiar...

Thats because it is mine. Looks like it will sell as well at the moment as I have a guy in Ireland keeps trying to buy it off ebay.

This is ideal for a retirement project. Simply tell work to FRO on your 65th birthday, fire up the Maestro and head for Cornwall. Hook it on the back of this, set off the next day and get home just in time for your 101st birthday at the Golden Showers Nursing Home

Inexplicable things you'd buy if you had the room/money, part 906:

There's certainly a festival going on in my pants when I look at this.

And remember that these vehicles are only MoT exempt if being used for recovery purposes...

'I dont know a lot about its history'

Someone threw an engine into a Toys R Us mountain bike frame, lobbed the seat away, replaced it with a fucking skateboard then painted everything with Humbrol no. 19 Bright Red paint, before sawing the pissing exhausts off and rendering the entire steaming pile of Rottweiler shit abso-fucking-lutely worthless?

My eyes are getting worse, I thought that bike had some weird wind turbine attached, but I think it's a rotary clothesline and part of next door's roof

Rarer than the teeth of the world's rarest hen - in fact an endangered species. The last one on Ebum had it's engine robbed to go in a sports Singer (probably a Le Mans or Roadster) - yea Singer made sports cars pre-and just post -War. I really hope this doesn't happen here. Bodmin is a fair stretch to go see though. Useless trivia : these Hunters had a fibreglass bonnet.

That Hunter is lovely, though I don't think the horse's head  mascot on the bonnet is original   :)

The nags head is original - Singer like many many manufacturers since had an old model with declining sales, little to invest and looked at ways to 'refresh' the 1948 designed SM1500 model. A new radiator, name and nags head was their cost-effective answer. What is so idd about this car is the patina on the paintwork - its more the appearance of a dry climate car with odd dark areas.

52000 mile Uno, bidding currently at £56. Doesn't look to me like more than a day's work to rectify the MOT fail points, but then I am an optimist who knows nothing about Unos. Fortunately I'm miles away with no way of collecting it.

Yes but...there's no mention of rust on the MOT fail sheet. That's what makes me think it would be worth saving...

Hyper-rare. I hope this doesn't get crucified as a 'streetfood truck'. Would however make a great rero-camper - line it out with tongue and groove and fit a woodburner...

OK - my Walkthrough had a Perkins 4.236 and that was slow enough, Lord knows what it'd be like to drive with a 1.7...

More nostalgia - these were bought by the well-to-do in the early '50's and usually only came out Sundays for the run to church driven by the gardener/handyman with Daisy and Ethel in the back with a rug over their knees. Progress is leisurely with a pre-select gearbox - but all beautifully made. If you have somewhere to tuck one up a great summer cruiser to flowershows and carshows. No MoT or tax either

I dread to think what one of these would be like to drive in today's traffic.  I had a Daimler Conquest Century which is the same shell but with nearly twice the power - that could only just keep up with the modernz.

1400kg with 60bhp...you could get your own rush hour traffic tailback  news bulletin on the HMV...

Thats right people, its friday, its ummm just gone midday, and its time for the south-coast-what-can-i-get-for-under-a-monkey roundup.

First up, this is what lower middle-manager cockroaches will drive after the nuclear apocalypse.
