'LOOKING FOR OFFERS OVER £3000'

'RETAILING OVER £14000 AFTER RENOVATION'

£5's worth of jet washing is going to turn your £3,000 into £700.

Surely one of the best looking cars on eBay?

I know you boys are partial to an Escort so here you go;

s-l1600.jpg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-Ford-Escort-1-4-70bhp-LX-5-door/252990183620

- I expect the 70hp 1.4 is under powered. My old 1.6 with 90hp felt like it needed a bit more. Nice colour, and the two-tone LX cladding is fucking sexy. Speaking of which;

And now the comically optimistic;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-L-Ford-Escort-1-6LX-5-Door-Cayman-Blue-1-Owner-55000-MILES/282585939922

-£2000!

s-l500.jpg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-1-6-89bhp-Ghia-16v-1993-L/272582953828

-£3000!

s-l1600.jpg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-1-6-Serenade-Ltd-Edn/152331799167

-£4000! Four fucking grand! Who's going to spend that kind of money on an old Escort? I mean ok sure if it has the Ghia Wooden trim but it's just a boggo Serenade

'It's a real head turner'

I don't want to worry you, chief, but of the (approximately) 16 people in that picture, two of them are openly laughing at it, the gyppo kid looks utterly bemused, the bird with my nan's 1970's living room carpet as a dress seems to be shutting her eyes and that schoolie would rather scratch her arse.

'The past owner told me the plate was worth £1000'

My last girlfriend called me 'Neddy Singer' because she said I was hung like a donkey and went like a sewing machine. She was also lying.

The wood in 90s Ford's came from plantation of plastic trees in deepest Dagenham, harvested by chavs under the dark of the moon & hand polished tracey's shredders.

Rear wiper on that Onion like the top of the tree, but misery spec inside, with clockwork windows, a very odd spec, esp as I borrowed a J plater 1.4 LX years back and that had leccy windows

White Victor estate....

I am a simmering pan of purest lust now for that.

Fantastic isn't it?!    Much want here, too.

My old man had a 2000SL wagon which I used to borrow to take a girlfriend out.   He stopped me because I had been seen laying rubber in it.   Typical 17 year old that I was, I lied my way out of it saying it was Dean Little up in the village who had a 3300SL the same colour.    I told Dean about it one afternoon, long after both cars had disappeared and he told me the slush-box in the 3.3 wouldn't even play tunes on the tyres!

Have we had this Jizz yet?  Doesn't come with the wee folding moped, sadly.  Nice early 2CV in the background though,

But there is a '60 Buick following it and now you know why I hate car shows as much as I do.

It amazes me that a manual 3.3 Victor estate has managed to go 50 years without having a towbar nailed to it, that would have been a prime Sprite Major and loads of kids, some in the "very back", in the mid 70s.

It won't surprise anyone to hear I was an odd kid, but I used to exasperate my dad by always asking him why 3.3 estates weren't called Ventoras, he even told me once he was going to phone up Vauxhall and ask them! In my defence I was obsessed with big Vauxhalls at 10 years old because he had a Viscount.

How cool is that?

Look up "Cool" in the dictionary.  There will be a photo of that car.

This is great - a Foden tractor unit derated to 7.5 tonnes so it can be driven on a car licence (if you're old).  Sadly I don't have a spare three bags lying around at the moment or I'd be sorely tempted.
