Yes. You could make 500 a year there and register them all, because if you build fewer than 500 cars a year

you are not considered to be a car maker and thus your cars don't have to comply with sod all.

Awesome. Now, if I were a billionaire I would build one, register it there then try and import it to the UK just so I could watch the DVLA building fall over sideways.

To do that all you'd need is 50k or thereabouts.

It wouldn't even cut into the interest on a billion.

Newbie error, posted in the ebay 'bargain' thread by mistake, error of my ways pointed out - might interest someone here

Toyota barge, rare in UK (about 2,500 left acc to HowManyLeft), nightmare to get parts, no MoT, rusty as hell £275. Sounds like the perfect shite challenge for someone on here ?

That sold for £26.

£26 for a usable car with 5 months MOT!

Looks like the seller pulled out.  Quelle surprise.

I bet even WBAC would give more than £26 for it.  The Ebay description was crap, though.

If we only had someone on the forum called bub, who liked vans, this would be prefect for him.

Bonus content inc, a real Ferrari and a concourse Espace.

That's ace, but despite the seller having to check, the test runs out on the 6th June.

Does eBay charge extra for punctuation these days?

I am no classic car expert.

But your eyes don't work mate.

Why the link to a site that says "Note: this is NOT the official NG website"? Mmmmmm.....

Thats why.......

Hi ya, yes it's still available, I put it on for a friend and forgot to put a reserve on it and then it was too late to amend it so I had to cancel the auction when it had ended. What would you offer?

My late father's car was a Wolseley 6/80.

My older brother (very long story), when he got his hands on it, traded itr in for an MGA - that would have been 1960-odd.

Fast-forward to today - a so-called "barn find":

Are Camrys a "nightmare to get parts" ?

Pretty sure when I was doing some background "research", owners were saying it was hard to get parts because they sold so few here - they have to import parts from the EU. I may be mistaken. However the MOT history definitely points to the car being held together with iron oxide...

Not especially, just expensive. Having one for spares on the driveway does help though.....
