Shitefest accommodation = sorted.

It's even MOT'd until two weeks afterwards.  (Honestly.)

Those nice bubble car museum people will love it when you abandon this on the site as you leave.  They can probably make it a new visitor attraction and put their prices up.

Here is a diesel Peugeot, on the Wirral, with lots of MOT, a knackered starter motor and a mouldy interior, for £100 BIN.  If Billy doesn't buy this there's something wrong with the world.

for sale as whole car,to be used for whateverâ€

Surely the most straightforward bit of car marketing ever?

I'd love an SD1 2000 but couldnt ever spend more than about 600 on one

Surely the days of the 600 quid SD1 must now have passed?  Even with your legendary prowess with the OMGelectrodanger sparklylaserbeam weldinator, you might have a job on your hands if you found one at that price.

is it wrong to want an SD1, with a 2 litre engine?

especially if its a nifty colour, like Arum white......

Far from it!

But why stop at the venerable O series!

Hat would be doffed at anyone mad enough to own an Indian "Standard 2000". Complete with elderly 2.0 L engine with only 83 hp (62 kW),

Not only does it have the thirst of a v8 but I reckon it might just struggle to move itself

No, it is one of the rightest things in EVAH.  Only a diesel one would be more Autoshite, but you have to be Italian to get one of those.

when I were a lad, chap around the corner from home had a SD1 2.4

It was totalled when a pissed up lad stacked his 1850 Dolly up the Rovers arse

Out of complete curiosity I tyre kicked one in the late 80s. sounded nice but unlikely to embarrass on a roundabout* was my overwhelming memory

*Having the back step out on a slightly damp corner was very easy in the V8. Proper hooligan stuff

Brightwells auction is just a few miles from here and tomorrow they are selling this Jowett.

Not original, but apparently it has had this 5.3 Chrysler / Torqueflite for many years.

With a bench seat and wheels with chrome hubcaps it would be perfect enough. I want this quite a lot.

Managed to get hold of the vendor, cheers Wuvvum. Seemingly it 'might not be the starter motor' and it won't go with a bump start. The milk (water) bottle in the driver's door pocket throws me off, so even though it's dirt cheap I'm probably going to give it a miss.

I would love to buy this teeny tiny fire engine and drive it around following my other heaps for when they catch on fire.

We should have it on standby at Shitefest to satisfy Health and Safety innit while burnupz and tyre kicking antics take place.
