Just read through a few pages and that corolla made me smile. 109 bhp. If I remember correct the 414 sli rover I had was 108 bhp and the 1.6 where closer to 115. The gti 216 was a bit more.

Lightning never shites twice, so they say. Well here's proof that it does several times at least

'Item location: Southport'

Obviously not a local car then as the seagulls fly upside over Southport on account of the fact IT'S NOT WORTH SHITTING ON.

This looks fun to drive, the suspension reminds me of that from the Warthog on Halo

I have a spare 875cc Imp engine we could lob in the back of that. That would be MEGA! and would still be quicker than Volksy's Audi 100.

You could fit a 6 speed gearbox. However since it appears to have French military markings. that would have to be 1 forward speed and 5 reverse.

Not French, Italian, the french motor would do nothing and give up for fear of getting damaged.

The French gave up Paris as allegedly they didn't want their beautiful city ruined.

Why do I now this? Cos I is sad innit.

Like I wondered why my Kubelwagen had, like all others, a low compression engine - because the Krauts knew the further East they went the shiter the fuel quality would be.

Sorry end of history lesson.

Speaking of rescuing Renaults, have we had this one yet?

Condition unknown/ unwarranted -although it does still look pretty sound.

Looks eminently saveable. In Sussex, £161 so far.

Edited to add: It even comes with a Nigel Bickle numberplate, sort of... Mr Bickle to the beige courtesy phone please...

On Bickles doorstep that, I guess he may already be bidding.

All BMW's are shit etc however this looks more interesting as it's an Alpina B10 which looks to have been dragged out a hedge or in ebay speak "carefully barn stored".

It's not the desirable bi-turbo so it's pretty much just a 535i sport with a different ecu, it doesn't run (the ecus probably borked) and it's got a lot of bits missing, no alpina stripes and seems to be fitted with e28 seats.

Offers. I've no idea what it's worth.

This looks aright for £275. I imagine it's going to suffer the slow death of satin paints and roof racks though.

I hear these 2.5v6 ZR's are actually very quick and decent to drive. You'll look like a bit of a fanny driving around in a bright yellow car with yellow seats and a park bench nailed on the back but it is cheap.

I can confirm that they're absolutely funking brilliant. Regret flogging mine bigstyle.

That's a 'ZS' BTW.

I only hear good things about the 2.5V6 versions - there's a good Tiff test of all three MG Z's on Youtube. He rated both the S and T quite highly.

This won't hang about long for £895 or best offer, almost tempted myself.

He's just bumped the price up to £1295!

{anorak mode, again}

That's a mega rare 2.0 'non-130' (C20NE I think the code is) model. Most SRi Mk2s were either 1.8 or 2.0 '130'. They are both actually a better engine than the one in this though!

The seller appears to like the car so much he has literally GOT HIS COCK OUT for the pictures.

I realise that the reality is this could be hopelessly f*cked and harbour more filler than an Isopon factory but it looks very good VFM to me for £900.

It's in Galashiels, isn't one of our lot up that way, CMS perhaps?

I'm from there, gtd2000 is from just a few miles up the road but spends his time stalking old cars in California but whitevanman's the only one actually local I believe.

Edit. that's the guy that had the crispy tr7 I was gurning over. He's also got a pretty soft looking dolly sprint for sale.

COMES WITH A ASPARE BONNER

What a fantastic looking car. Values of these must be on the up soon - anything 70s wth any kind of style seems to fetch strong bucks these days so surely these must rise soon.

Surely the law of the internet dictates he be bombarded with dozens of substantially sub £895 'best offers'?
