Exactly what pisses me off about these idiot ebay sellers. It is NOT a Cosworth nor ever will be, it IS a three door Sierra that looks to be in reasonable nick. That is what you are selling, grow up and accept the fact.

And that is not at all dodgy I mean he remembers to cut out a bit of rusty floor but totally forgets to remove the chassis tag so just buys a new unstamped one,

I will check under the bonnet of the Tina because I am sure they don't even come with that style of tag either.

These older Ferrari reps aren't quite as gawping as the horrible Cougar and MR2 ones that are knocked out these days.

I wonder what that is in the background?

The problem with newer ones is that they are replicas in the first place. If someone put the same effort into designing something original as they do designing a naff replica you could potentially end up with something decent. There's a company in California that did just that, clearly inspired by old Ferrari's and Italian design of the time but they aren't replicas so they look great. Wish I could remember the company name.

That Bentley is glorious. My former boss had one from new. Chopped it in for a Cayenne Turbo S, the silly sod.

Jesus wept that Interceptor is unbelievable!!!!! I reckon Peter Stringfellow is the likely culprit. (Is he still alive?)

Let's have a roundup of what people sell as replicas these days.  High standards?  You be the judge.

Tasty Healey with V8 power.  £20k+ is a lot of cash for something that isn't real, although I'm sure it's faster, more reliable and less rusty than a real one.

Forty grand for this E Type, but it sure is purdy

£880,000 for this replica.  It really is 880,000 times better than a Sherpley

Can the standard keep climbing ever higher?  Errrr, no.  £21,000 for this Beetle based kit with very visible torsion bar suspension is a travesty

9 grand for this "SS100 replica"?  What colour is the sky on your planet, mate?

I tell you what, chief.  You'd have been better off sticking with the Metro

I went to the NEC show last autumn and with the prices that 911s fetch nowadays I'm amazed there isn't someone knocking these Covins out.  I'd perhaps give the 1.6 CVH engine a swerve and go for narrow instead of wide body, but I reckon you'd be beating the customers off.

Dead for hundreds of years, but this makes no difference to how he behaves, and a person with that much orange can't ever decompose.

Apropos of nothing much, I was reading a law report today about a lap dancer at Stringfellows (I had a proper work related reason for doing this, to do with hairdressers).  Oh the naivete of some judges - describing lap dancing as "ancillary" to the main business of the nightclub.  Yeah, people really go there for the frozen chips and 100 quid sub-Aldi champagne, yeah right.

"That" in the background looks to me like a Nova, which was a Beetle-based kit.  Condorman (played by the really likely* superhero Michael Crawford) had one...

I really shouldn't like that. Does look quite good lowered though, not something I would normally say.
