yes the front footwells can and do fizz away to nothing on the XK8 (sadly).

however, the ad does say that the floors on that one are in good order.

plus, the repair sections for the front footwells are £70 odd each, its just the fitting that will cost.

same on the rear wheel arches the panels are £90 to buy........

Sounds like someone has done far too much research not to buy it.

Hadn't realised these early XK8's had made it down close to the £3k mark

Would!

that sounds like a Jaguar.....

lovely to look at, wonderful to drive, always looking for new and interesting ways to siphon money out of you're bank account.

they are needy cars, but in spite of that i'd have another one in a heart beat!

Why do people insist on building camper vans on vehicles that are already hopelessly slow in standard form?

Also, I dare somebody to sit in the rear seat of that Kangoo while it's being driven round Knockhill.

Neglected Maestro van, 100 quid start and currently no bids.  Worth more than that for the engine surely?

s-l1600.jpg

Bonus Mk2 luton in the background.

Same seller also has this:

s-l1600.jpg

which has been making it extremely hard for me to resist doing something stupid.

My nerdiness makes me think that the Mk2 Transit in the background is an ex-military Hawson bodied stores/workshop van.

A really really early MK1 Cortina

I think the Consul name was only used for a short time at the beginning of production.

Unfortunately "removed from sale". Only slightly barried so still good !

All 9 Cortinas listed on the site here....

The Mk 3 is an Aussie built one.

Victor Stuart Hunt became the 2nd owner of TEG 194X after acquiring the car from Marshall (Cambridge Ltd) on the 20/04/1985

TEG 194X is a matching numbers car which needs a few jobs to become roadworthy once again.

It's Ford Cortina not a fuggin Ferrari Daytona Spider.

Just for interests sake, do you get this type of mobility car, we get these ex Japan (this is one). A really good system, you will also see the seat has a foot rest and armrests.

That might work with a little Japanese person , but it would be interesting to what would happen when 30 stone lovely with thyroid problems plonks herself on it . Would the seat snap off before the car fell over, place your bets now please.
