eBay tat volume 3.

The vendor of that ADO16 sounds like the kind of bloke who'd be in the pub for about 3 minutes, 24 seconds before you just twatted him one and walked out.

I seem to recall that Quintet was owned by someone on RR at some point? And was white? Can't be many others that were in Salisbury.

I remember spotting one in 2014 and it showed up on eBay not long after. Wonder what happened to that....

Ah-

I'm guessing somebody on here can confirm that Senator above must be ex police, being a 3.0 manual with cloth interior?

I don't think it is, you know.

The colour ( unmarked car unlikely to be metallic)

The sunroof.

The rear headrests.

The lack of calibration label on speedo.

But mostly the fact the seller reckons his dad has owned it since it was a year old !

2.5 and 3.0 Senators all had cloth as standard, I think auto was optional too, certainly on 2.5s, not 100% about 3.0s

I didn't know my old feller made cars. (George Jeffery)

Looks like Bungle and Zippy were in there too.

The old ones are the best.

Oh well, at least we know who's to blame for the new Bini Countryman

Can of 4 star and a box of matches?

That Hornet abortion keeps appearing on here - I wonder if they're having trouble selling it :) ?

It's still better looking than a new Bini Countryman.

If that's a 2003 car then presumably it must have been posthumously facelifted?

There are a few oddities with that - it's got the pre-project deprive separate Rover badge on the boot (which even at 2003 it shouldn't).  If it was a Rover car as claimed, maybe they tweaked it as they wished.

I thought the same, but that white one was an auto I think.

I recognise that beige Maxi - isn't/wasn't it in the Autoshite fold?

I owned it briefly.

Here it is ready for the off to new owner on Isle of Wight no less! ;)
