I've seen some of these GTO kits that look kind of okay. This one is awful, not even the worst cataract  sufferer could look at this and say nice Ferrari M8.

The front end of that would look ace on an otherwise standard MX-5. The back end though? WTF? It's far too wide for the wheels.

It could be nice. Fill the rear arches with wider, dished wheels, twin-carbs on the engine so it looks period, get rid of those absurd F355-style rear lights. It would still be an old MX5 carrying around a bathtub but I don't think it's a million miles away from being passable. Advert says the v5 was altered to read "MX250". WTF? Why bother?

I am not far from the seller of that Metro and it is very tempting to rock up to view it but refuse to buy it as that would mean handing over my details to a stranger which would be in breach of the DPA....
