(Slight aside)

Whoever is responsible for those Land-Rover 'series' things being about £14,000 for a shitty wreck these days needs a massive shoeing. They've gone from 'almost worthless' to 'dickhead only' money in about 3 seconds flat.

Yeah I know these are VAG_SHITE but I like the slightly awkwardly high ride height on the 4x4 models, like this one and who can argue with that much internal caramac? This one is a 1.8T 4x4 which sounds great. Already been on once and made about 600 quid with an immediate relist - sounds like a BARG in view of how mint it is (FSH, 56k etc)

Hmm, that's cheap enough to be an engine donor at the moment but no doubt it will go for real money

What would it donate its engine to? Its a 105bhp carb effort so not terribly enticing right?

Some people just make this thread a shit load easier

'She has being as far as Scotland and back in the same day'

The same day? The actual same day to actual real time Scotland? I'm completely underwhelmed

'Has being maintained physically'

The queue says different

'It is currently used as a flat bed to transport cars...we pull a trailer and use the trailer to drive up and then it has a set of ramps to drive from the trailer on to the truck...so can carry and does pull two cars. (Although you will need to buy your self a trailer if you wish to do so, as we are keeping the trailer)'

Brilliant. Eleventy/cajillion.

Somerset to Scotland and back in a day is pretty good going

The only value in that is in the drivetrain, and a factory fresh Hellcat drivetrain isn't much more than what they're asking for that. FRO.

Check out the VOSA-bait level of the described setup - I think it's tehnically just within the weight limits for it (5750kg) but imagine how many "random" checks you'd get driving about like this.

YO!

Its had a new set of carbs fitted at a cost of £300 and £800 Spent on it 2 months ago including new HT Leads, New Plugs, New Clutch, New Battery etc...

After the Carbs where fitted it STARTS but then cuts off. Im selling now on the basis that it requires works... I AM SELLING AS A NON RUNNER... IM NOT HERE TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MINE - SO I RATHER SAY NON RUNNER.......

Before the carbs where fitted - Driving ability wise I could not fault it. The engine performed very well, the steering is nice and smooth and the brakes are good as is the gearbox. A really nice drive before the carbs where fitted....NO ITS A NON RUNNER.....

For fucks sake, who spends £1100 replacing the entire pissing ignition and fuel systems then sells it as a non runner due to cutting out? FUCKING SORT IT MAN! Put the old carbs back on or something!!!! ITS A BASTARD TRANNY VAN, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!!!!!

Seems unlikely, what else is going to cause it to cut out? Defo something affected by his £1100 'overhaul'.

This actually looks like it'd be quite a fun thing, apart from the usual "still registered as a 1.4" bollocks.

This is a bit of alright

I always think of these as being seriously worthless, but I'm not sure that is still the case. Anyway, in the watch list it goes

****** Edit: Also I can't help thinking of the 'BULLIT' car when I see these. "SHIT AROUND TOWN IN THE BULLSHIT" (copyright D. Hirst(

And again...

A Cavalier cylinder head donor, too (sounds ridiculous but apparently true - if you can't get a hold of a 16v Astra engine, the heads from these apparently fit the top of the 8v Cavalier block...  No doubt NewPOD will be along to correct me if I'm wrong!)
