These are really getting rare now! Please contact me for more information.  It is my car which I brought to use and then use the engine and box in my 1991 220 gti hatchback. Due to the fact that my 220 gti is as rare as hens teeth I don't want to do the conversion anymore. I parked the 620 up in my girlfriends garage and pulled it out today to take some pictures. Will give it a good cleaner next Saturday and Sunday. I don't think it will sell (in a way I hope it doesn't!) and will use it next year as there is nothing better then seeing the faces on people's faces when they try booting past you and the have an old man's car making them look a little silly.lol

Anyway not wanting to sell it unless a decent amount is put on the table. I was going to sell it back in May and had in on eBay and got loads of messages and offers but nothing tempted me. The car is not perfect and before you offer me a few hundred pounds please expect a sarcastic answer. I am 43 and no push over! As I said, she isn't perfect but is a genuine 65000 mile car which is recognisable where ever you go!  I love this car and will be sad to see it go but having 5 cars and a bike project is a bit to much (girlfriends words not mine!!) The car is at my girlfriends near Ashburton so will need a bit of notice if you want to view.

lah-di-dah.... you know no sale is gonna happen here.

Yep Sofim engines Iveco. I've had no problem with mine pergles along nicely been over to France  8 times this year. Plenty of power even when loaded to the roof. I'm now after a beavertail version.

I think that's the point. Those Iveco turbodiesels work a hoot in France, Italy and Germany, where you can just drive on.

In the UK, where there is a red traffic light every 30 yards and any speed above 35 kills and there is a yellow box every 50 yards so some Englishman can enthusiastically

endorse the licence of the next Englishman, they just can't cope.

I've seen those Iveco turbodieselled Ducatos hooned along Autobahns pedal to the metal until they've rusted away, not until their engines failed.

Mary and Patrick and the snakes, that's a BRS Parcels van, isn't it? For those of us who think Roadline is newfangled tosh!

Wow.

Some vehicles should be listed, like buildings.

And those Noddy vans should be Grade I listed.

They are the English equivalent to the German Post Magirus-Deutz Saturns.

The Noddy van is the more intelligent piece of engineering of the two, though.

I didn't know there had ever been a Rudolf powered Thames.

Why no picture of the engine you divot?

I hope it is a 3 cylinder Petter in there but I expect it is a Perkins.

Soz, but I'm calling bollocks on that one. I thrashed the shit out of everyone I drove and they were still shit.

Facebook 'scooters for sale (vespa LML Scomadi and Lambretta)

Those Scomadi's seem to be getting reasonable reviews so far - I'd hit one over a vintage Lamby

I'm at that half-avoiding, half-considering buying stage with them. Need a test ride though first, a dealer I messaged couldn't offer that. If Scomadi have an open day or something next year I'll try and have a crack.

They're a bloody nice looking thing, probably quite reliable and they are well priced. I just don't know if I could live with a scooter with a four stroke engine.
