i used to have a mark 2 polo breadvan, a later one than that above, but it was a nice car back from when VAG built a nice, stylish and sensible car, and built it properly.

easy on pez and pleasant to drive, sadly i wrote mine off been a young and silly twat at that time :-(

are the 8 valve kettles any more or less prone to OMGHGF?

I had a 1991 version, and I needed to do a head gasket, but a fantastic engine, and a great handling car, miss mine.

That car bothers me. That dashboard just doesn't match the exterior... at all! The dash looks like something out of a curvy, sporty coupe, then you see the outside of the car!

It's both amazing and infuriating at the same time.

This makes me want to cry.  It used to look like this, complete with original wheel trims (and an engine)

This is an amazing time capsule!

Silver seal replacement engine!

This better not show up all shiny in a few months with a the seat covers gone and a Morris sticker on the repainted rocker cover.

(spoiler: it will)

I didn't know Noel Gallagher and Brian Murphy had gone into the classic car business together. Do Look (at the) Back In Anger?

That age of Metro GTA will be carb, the injection airfilter was more triangular.

please note that you need to add redex to the petrol as it`s a 4 stroke engine?

Genius - and he's even added the question mark to show you have to say it with that uptick at the end that all the kids do, as if everything's, like, a question, yeah?

This looks pretty good, sensibly priced too.

My first legal car was one of these back in 1985. It was totally rotten then and only lasted a few months. The second one I bought so I could use the first one as spares. It didn't last long either when I bounced it off a 6 month old mk2 cavalier. It was towed away and we got a lift off the copper to the nearest train station. Luckily the recovery agents had a big fire and lost my details as I never heard any more about it. The recovery bill would of been twice what the car was worth and on £30 a week YTS I had to go back to a moped for a while.

Never mind that stretched Rover 75, there is a Toronado behind it!

But it's not in "sellers other items"☹ï¸
