eBay tat volume 3.

I has not been touched since February this year.

Search app store for Tinder.

I spent over £400 at our local paint shop (receipt as proof) on materials to complete the project but time and commitment to it was short lived. It will require a new battery.

...and anything else?

Where on earth did that £400 worth of paint go? One very expensive can of aerosol primer?

The van is stored at my parents house which has now become a nursery for children

"The van has no MOT, and OFSTED have put it onto special measures"

This was sold at Morris Leslie Auctions a couple of weeks ago for £4558.

Spotted lurking there back in June!

poorly sick monty in BEIGE (mostly) with borked ignition/carb control unit thing....

god alone knows where (if?) you will find another one of those. lets face it, they weren't the most reliable thing even when new!

be a shame to see it get fragged, though i can see that been its fate.

Don't know much about these but could it be converted to a manual carb?

yes, and no.

yes, a manual choke cable can be added to the carb, and the existing stepper motor removed.

but, the car will still be a bugger to start, as the manual choke cable won't open up the butterfly valve fully open on the carb as the mechanism and the position of the cable just won't allow it.

we had a maestro VP 1600 that someone had done this too, and boy would it be a sod sometimes to start. we found a 1300 in a local scrappy, bought the carb off of it for £20 including the same stepper motor and used that to replace the missing one on the VP, doing away with the manual hoke cable at the same time. with the auto choke restored the car ran much better than before, and was far easier to start, usually catching at the first turn of the key.

Or you could bin the carb and fit an HIF from a Metro or whatever which has no stepper Moto and is designed for a manual choke.

Plus 1 on not converting the Monty to manual choke by modding the carb.

I did do this on my Maestro before giving up and fixing the ECU.

The manual mod kit was shit and cold starting relied on just the right amount of pedal and choke. And my car was automatic too so the setup was quite unmanageable.

Pretty much my first thought. Sack the carb off and "throw" on a manual choke webber or something.

I'd be plenty pissed if I shelled out on a cambelt only to be listing it as a non-driver on ebay a week later. I wonder if they broke something when doing the 'belt?

Potential reasonably priced bargain in Oswestry. Last MOT'd in 2014 and assume the welding (then ) was done. For £400/best offer it's not bad at all if you canw eld.

Well I never. Here's my old Master camper, although having seen the rank paint job and the horrors wrought on the interior I genuinely wish I'd never clapped eyes on it again :-(

This is how it looked when I had it:

I reckon the bridge would be a kindness.
