Do you like the idea of driving along in lane 1 of the motorway and have overtaking cars slam on their brakes as they pass you?  For £700 you could do a lot worse than this Honda

If some dog owners go to look like their pets, some car owners must look like their vehicles.  If you're aged 30 but with the liver of a 75 year old, got no hair, wear shorts all year round to show off the bulldog tattoo on your leg then this could be your perfect match.

Sunglasses eh?  They're to shade your eyes from the sun, but if you prefer to wear them on your head maybe this vehicle is for you. At £950 you can afford that extra session at the tanning salon.

If you're having trouble justifying the purchase of that electronic diagnostic kit, get yourself this P38 Range Rover.  Spares or repairs but still a grand.  All the photos appear to be freeze frames from a video.

I don't wish to sound crude but either she's got a massive damp patch or her frock is different colours.

I'm loving this Friday sarcasm.

In the description for the yellow hot-rod...

'polished aluminium supercharger and twin carbs for show and real downdraft carb inside supercharger'

So it not only looks a bit iffy, it doesn't go likes it should either, more of a 'tepid-rod' then.

My reaction was more along the lines of "for fuck's sake, it's a normally-aspirated V6 instead of the supercharged V8 it's trying to look like. Wanker!"

Also, that Cortina just screams wannabe Dukes of Hazzard. The colour, the wheels, the welded-shut doors. It all adds up.

These pre-facelift Volvo 400s are increasingly rare these days (some might say deservedly so). £500 gets you this low-mileage automatic in giffer grey with matching scrapes and an erratic temperature gauge. Unfortunately it does appear to be owned by someone who hasn't discovered landscape mode on their camera.

No point just talking about them, we need to see them!

That looks like a bloomin' good buy. Ultimately I'd still rather get my old one back on the road (because sentimentality), but if it stays cheap enough....

If you do get the taste for this SL then Uxbridge is 5 minutes from work and I can help get it to you no probs.

I quote :

MOT expired recently. Will require offside stop-lamp bulb, rear reg plate (old one is faded), offside front tyre and welding at offside inner body in order to pass MOT. I can get the bulb, reg plate and tyre fitted for £65 on top of the purchase price, but I do not have a welder otherwise I would have done it all. Someone is going to get a fantastic car for the price of a bicycle!

PAYING FOR THIS CAR IS EASY: We accept pound notes

Mileage doesn't cause rust, exposure to the elements causes rust. A high mileage car driven through a lot of salty water may rust quicker but age is the issue. Just look how many drive ornaments are rusty as hell, they weren't like that when laid up (well most weren't) and haven't covered any miles.

Today's mission is to take eight kilos of Bolivian marching powder, six space cakes and enough smack to sink the Harmony Of The Seas. Then, using all your skill and judgement simply reassemble the bits of Peugeot 205, Austin Allegro and Proton Savvy on your garage floor and glue them to a Mini.

I like the back of that, reminds me of the back of an Autobianchi A112.
