I would lick that till the paint came off.

I suppose shipping it over here would approximately triple the price of about £1250?

Adds about a grand from Oz, so I doubt NZ would be much different.

Might even be cheaper now, if you are good at haggling. Lot of spare capacity on the boats right now.

Something thought provoking for me here:

I know the owner and I saw the car several years ago. Question is, would I be better to get my 2.2 estate up and running again, or give myself yet another project? Hmmmmm.......

He let me know about this just minutes after I started 'having thoughts' about a Galant V6 that I saw for sale locally.

PCP on the Avensis ends later this year and I'm probably not going to buy it myself or take out another one, so there is some justification to this daydreaming.

Hey Vulg you still after a Hearse? Be good for displaying all your artwork to flog at car shows. Just a thought.

I'd love a Mk2 Escort, y'now, something like an RS1800 but they're well out of my price range now.  How about an Avenger, was it the Tiger that was the sporty one?

If only I could get an Avenger with racing stripes on it for not much money now.

I appreciate they're almost certainly going to be awful to drive, but am I alone in thinking they look quite smart?

This is being sold by a local trade place. It's a bit weird I think they basically take the cheapest trade shit they can find, put it through MOTs and then flog it bottom of the market with no warranty. Really cheap stuff they don't even bother MOTing. Interesting market model.

Either way... £75 BIN for this! So cheap they haven't even bothered taking photos at their site.

Maestro pickups where converted by the same dealership that did the metro ones too.

Both very rare.
