Not really normal Autoshite but, if you have a lust for old US tin, this is very exciting - its a 1961 DeSoto. The DeSoto was binned by Chrysler only a couple of months into the 1961 season so these are ultra rare.....and this one is only 20kms away! Sure its not the prettiest of its era but like the 1960 Edsel these are rarer than something very rare indeed and it has that attractive stench of failure about it. Shame I dont have 200k SEK to spend on a 55 year old, be-finned, aircraft carrier sized runabout! Wonder if he'd take 50?

first ad is in Brough and the car is £2950, while the second ad is in Herne Bay and the car is a £1k....

so move a car 250 odd miles north and its worth £2k more?? WTF??

its not just me is it, that is the SAME car in each picture isn't it?

To be fair, they do seem to have added extra cushions on the back shelf in the C & C advert, perhaps they are filled with fivers

Allegro was advertised about a month ago in Herne Bay, I noticed it then.

If its an absolute deal breaker I will get the car MOT'd, but the final bid will be plus £50 for the MOT, plus the cost of a pair of wipers and a bulb, but it will probably be a weekend closer to the end of January before I have the time free to do this and get it retested.

Just get it MOT'd numb nuts!
