Would an automatic 2 litre P6 have any redeeming qualities whatsoever?

Gearbox aside, it looks like a nice honest old bus and looks like it would make a decent daily hack.

Now, somebody please tell me how shit the autos are before something silly happens

Spacesaver?? WTF - these came with a full size spare. Unless some walter has fitter 195 tyres to the car and the spare is the original 165 section

I've been told they are quite enjoyably in a comfy, wafty barge sort of way. Not much in the way of performance but then one doesn't expect that from a 2.0 Rover regardless of the gearbox so why not relax a bit with fully automatic changes between three forward speeds?

 

 

It's a brown Triumph 6 cylinder and the numberplate describes my financial situation, I need it.

I think the Tigra is the only 1990's Vauxhall I haven't owned (obvs. not a Lotus Carlton though) so I would defo have one at some point.

Regata!

 

I bought it as I had always wanted another after owning one 20 years ago, however the one I had was a top spec 85S model and this one despite being a nice little car is a little basic for my liking so ive decided to move it on and continue my search for a more plusher model.

 

I think you won't find another one. Could be wrong though.
