its just a reminder of the fact that once-upon-a-time renner made proper nice and desirable cars.

io would like to try a renner 4 at some point.

i think it would be a car that i would either love or loath, hopefully love and just in time for the prices to go silly!!

Not Shite, and a shitload of cash....but this is listed as a 600 Pullman; is this the same as the Grosser?

I'm by no means an expert, but I think the term Grosser is just a nickname. The Pullman refers to the long wheelbase 600 in I think, 4 door,6 door or Laundelet form, the standard saloon was just '600' .

Pullmann is the generic German term for limousine, since a Limousine is simply a saloon in German. Grosser, correctly spelled großer in German, is the comparative of groß, which means big.

The term Grosser in relation to the biggest Mercedes model is a mock anglizised German word used only in the English speaking culture circle.

So the Grosser is the Mercedes 600 in English, and the Mercedes 600 Pullmann is the limousine version in German.

Maybe the cool crisp lines of this later model will set their hearts pounding.

3 litre V6, manual box, wheel trims, black plastic bumpers, plush interior but wind up windows! These were a police/Ministry of Transport spec car but this one appears privately owned.

Just under a bag of sand. Verdict: not bad.

Wow, an Abarth 130!

412629768.jpg

Yeah, but I bet it's really rusty.

412630154.jpg

Well, maybe at the back then.

412633775.jpg

Oh. Well, the wheels are OK I suppose but I prefer the earlier style they came with.

Ah. Bugger. Yeah, well I can't afford it as it'll cost moonbeams.

Asking price: $1,800 Or Near Offer

Less than £800. Or near offer! Yeah, that's just way too much. They're dreaming.

I wonder how much mpg I could squeeze out of this.  They had quite high compression ratio for a turbo so should be pretty efficient.

I had one like that but with autobox flavour. Averaged 24mpg and surprised a lot of people with its nippiness.

RARE 1960s TRI-ANG LAND ROVER PEDAL CAR BARN FIND.

It's a funny old world when this is valued more highly than most of the real Rover cars on Ebay.

Looks quite nice in there, in a leathery sort of way. Note the weird seatbelt arrangement: two inertia reels, one for lap belt, one for diagonal belt.

Only ever seen this on '90s GM cars.

I had one of these when I was six.  When my legs got too long for the pedals, Dad electrified it with a starter motor; chain drive to a rear wheel.

No control, either on or off via a Victorian era lightswitch.

I could have been decapitated like that bloke on Pendine sands.

Spinning wheel left black marks across the  the kitchen floor.

Anyone know how much it would cost to ship to the UK?

Bugger me thats brought back some memories, picked up an old chain driven boys go kart when mine were little, fitted a starter motor and battery to it and set 'em off across the park, it went like hell for about a minute then needed a recharge.

Doing this now would probably see me on charges.
