could be, bmc/leyland in Oz did have an inline 6 cylinder version of the e-series which they used in the marina, and i think Leykor used the engine in South Africa again in the marina.

Don't get me started on the lack of desirability of Lancias over here (except the Delta Integrale), and why isn't my Beta worth more than fucking Capri, I know which I'd rather drive.

2.6 E6 engine also found in the South African SD1.

 

ISTR the 2.6 E6 had torsional vibration issues in FWD applications, so no 2.6 Princess.
