Jeez Louise, that is magic, Trig. Last one I saw for sale was in a small garage on the outskirts of Cromer about 6 years or so ago now and I still regret not trying to buy it.

Meanwhile, on the trail of mange minged VDUB sellers, check this crock out

I think the wood was reserved for dedicated shitist V6 Magenters. No need to worry about that though, it has 4 keys!!!

Useless Info Dept: I'm sure those Ford Kas were originally built for a Yamaha designed two stroke triple. When the EU decided to bring in some legislation that moved the goal posts Ford were stuck so reverted to the Valencia/Kent x flow with injection and a cat. I say I'm sure, my mate who has connections has one of the aforementioned engines in his workshop!

And on a Ford note, Anglias had the dash that could be swapped left to right with the glovebox for cost cutting - borrowed a Merc Sprinter yesterday, 54 plate, the dash has the same swappable set up.

Night all.

I think the Ford Puma 1.7 was a Yamaha influenced engine,so what you say sounds quite possible

Grand Espace V6. Is there a shiter way to achieve 16 MPG?

I've just remembered - there is!!!! A mate had a Yugo 45 in the mid-90s - the MOT garage had sold him it after telling him it would be cheaper to buy this Yugo than to repair his W-reg Metro 1.3HLS - but a combination of a binding front left brake and an incorrect carb float level meant that he was getting about 16 mpg! Re-setting the float level and sorting out the binding brake restored mpg somewhat, however.

Just for Milford Cubivette, here's a re-posted picture of a Renault:

I had a V6 Magentis - it was a surprisingly good car, went like the clappers and could keep up with some fairly serious kit down the back roads thanks to light weight for its size and plenty of grip. Interior plastics felt cheap but well screwed together. Mine was a Mills-O-Matic with (crap) Tiptronic override - I'd quite like a go in a 5-speed V6, reckon that would be quite a machine.

A 16 MPG Yugo. Shiter platinum status for driving that, surely!??

Right I gotta get a Vagentis (I like that, Cav), quality pleather in the Korean Execs!

This has properly got the juices flowing for a V6 from the dog munchers. Gotta make good use of my next mainland trip due in a few weeks. Dropping off a Scenic dCi for my aunt and need a ride home :P

I used to have one of them Sonatas a few years ago. Fantastic cars, as long as you don't chuck them round corners (still capable but not designed for that kind of stuff).

They did knock up a two stroke car, but it was a Fiesta. I'm sure some police forces had them on test, but the emissions bit basically knobbed them off before they really got anywhere.

Ooh, very nice. The 1993 ones have a pretty face with the long indicators but no silly chromed plastic grille.

Re - Yams and Fords, those perky Fiesta 1.25 engines were Yamaha designed, were they not?
