good investment opportunity!

 

This was on the RCCC forum a while back with the seller hoping someone might want to restore it. Then it became apparent there could be quite a bit of interest so it went to a classic auction. No surprise that it ended up with someone just looking to make a quick profit thereby pushing it out of shite territory.

 

Needless to say, I'm jealous and bitter.

If the uk Renault 20 gets too expensive you could always buy this one to console yourself - you'll just have to ship it over / and the Phase 2 interior is not half as nice:

I don't like Renaults as a rule, but there is something of a baby hotrod about this little filly, I'd love to stow it in a darkened corner of the garage and fettle it's underbelly.
