It looks absolutely revolting and completely without merit.  It will doubtless prove to be an epic welding challenge and stuffed full of impossible-to-find parts.

Subaru at that time were imported in to the Uk by International motors group..which were the 1st people to take up and import Hyundais in to the country. When the Pony was introduced in 82 all accredited Uk Subaru dealers were made to take on the Hyundai franchise whether they liked it or not!
