2 grand porsche 'oxster with no service history, shite tronix gearbox and a fairly large chance it's been in a ditch at some point.

When Porsche went from air to water cooled by all accounts they made a bit of dugs baws of the whole thing as the motors on  these and in the 911 of the same vintage can seemingly just blow up

at pretty much any point without warning.

Another Sl this time with the whopping 280 which is probably like putting a endura e from a ka into a Dennis dart. BUT still next door will think you had a minor win on a scratchcard.

Plus its in a mega x63 million colour scheme.

Plus x2 its £2500

Plus X3 its motd for 12 months.

Yeah, + whatever on these SL's. I've been looking at them for about 6 months quite astonished how cheap they are. They'll always be proper classy motors too, especially as that one sits there, unless ruined as they sometimes are by some style-clueless wazzock and a set of later larger Merc rims. I reckon these must be at the lowest depth of their value dip and buying a well maintained unfrigged example is a sure investment.

I think they're already on the up price wise, I looked at a couple about 18 months ago for around £1500 , whereas now £2000 seems to be the bottom of the market. I'm determined to find an Almandine 500 on 16" 8 hole wheels, for a reasonable price to put in my 'Cars to keep forever' shed . So I can pick up my pension in style* - the style of a German dentist from 1990.

Are you a Lager or Bitter person? Again not cheap, didn't someone on here have one of these?

Wow,this looks like it was restored* in 1976, would be perfect for young man with anger issues and a Longbridge fixation.

Are they just Somersets with Austin Healey 100 engines?

I did...................an object lesson in "never meet your heroes"..................never been so glad to see the back of a car, worked out it cost me £4.79 per mile travelled............sent it off to auction, where some foolish Norwegian paid far too much for it......thank fuck.

Now that is cool.  Never seen those wheels on a Galion / Goëlette before.
