I'm not sure if I've said this before, but back in 1971 my next-door neighbour bought one of these for his wife as a 60th birthday present. Not sure if he was trying to kill her as she rode it once, down to the village shop (less than a mile), fell off and broke the screen. It was wheeled home and put in the garage until it went in the removal van with their furniture when they moved several years later.

This corker ends tonight.  I'd better lay off the Old Peculiar later otherwise I can see what's going to happen.  Shame about the massive dent in the driver's door and other assorted bumps.
