Knocks the efforts of those professional rat-lookers into a cocked hat

 

Guy had a 100A at work, from new.

 

Sold it on to a guy in the factory who took 3 lads home each day (likely splitting petrol) and the rear hub boss tore out of the swing arm... about 6yr old. Fragged.

The series one Lotus' used Maxi gears in a different 'box and were not known for reliability! Rebuilds were pricy donkeys years ago so God knows now?

Pros - L model base spec with rare blue vinyl seats and plain black early dashboard.  1800 B series engine is a great lump.

Cons - it's had a car on the roof.  Was the window and ignition smashed to merely moved it from a deceased's garage or was it nicked?  We may never know.

 

 

Still would, obviously.  And if someone on here is mental enough to buy it I'll provide a replacement window free of charge.

Just provoked a bored-lottery-winner fantasy scenario in me: I'd get it absolutely concours - nut 'n' bolt job - but leave the massive dent in the roof.
