I'm trying not to buy another car, but this looks a right honey (ignoring the rear arches) and unless I'm mistaken CVT on these?

I'm yet to own a CVT and want to try one for a daily.

Holy guacamole. The one and only Observer 635 Coupe. Desired this big time as a kid and watched in awe as the all glass roof slid in and out constantly during the entire duration of Motorfair that year. A 20-year early sneak peak of the options lists to come.

 

I thought it had been decomposing somewhere and recall a picture of it painted red with the roof fibreglassed over, yet this looks minty? Maybe they built more than one? Shame it is hands of these greedy buggers, though I think it cost ten times that originally;

If anyone was wondering where Luxobarge had gone, our tame Locking Wheel nut bothering Bubble, it appears he's been tinkering with Astravans:

 

vectra elite 17" alloys fitted a couple have burn marks on due to locking nut issue!!!! Stupid things!!!

Can't seem to get a picture up, but it's a 55 plate Astra van with a V6 in it out of a vectra. Looks good to be fair, and sounds like he's lobbed a fair few quid and hours at it.

 

Still on log book as 1.7 cdti

Nice one :shock:

I very nearly hit the BIN button on this until seeing that it's an auto - shame, it looks superb apart from the - mildly borked - gearbox.
