eBay tat volume 3.

Dodge is delicious though the description leaves much to the imagination. Still, if I could remember our recently changed ebay password it would be in the watch list as a possible house truck project.

Ahem:

"THIS  IS  A  RARE  ENGINE  WHATS  WORTH  SUMMART"

"EVRETHING  AS  BEEN  REMOVED  READY  FOR  NEW  STUFF  TO  BE  FITTED"

This chap seems like a top laugh. I'd love to watch him from a safe distance and see what kind of zany pratfalls befall him when carrying out mundane day-to-day tasks.

Verdict: Rocket Surgeon.

I'm REALLY fancying this at the moment and it's local, what are they like to drive and live with?.

(Also anyone fancy buying my Acclaim for £700?)

I really liked my 9000. Ultimately a bit dull, but the 2.3 no blow was plenty quick enough for me. Averaged 34mpg too.

The comedy Sherpa is currently £120,  if anything deserves to be the next Autoshite bonus ball prize it's this.

Theyre always mega pessimistic though. Bet you could get 30 round the doors ic driven semi-normally.

Our lpt 2.0 9000 (albeit a much later model) did a consistent 32-33mpg Trig. They're also not that massive - about the same size as a Mk3 Mondeo, one of which we used to park near, hence the comparison. Please buy, so I can perve over shots of it which don't look like they were taken at Springfield nuclear plant.

In other news, check this out - sold new in 1987!!!

Temptingly local, too......

Here is an inexpensive Silver Shadow. Cheap Roller Deus Ex Machina can be achieved by handing a mechanic an entire book of pre signed blank cheques, and then leaving it outside his workshop to 'respawn' in working form.

Speaking of luxury car trouble, not a car, but a service:

Bentley Continental GT - New Brake Light - FITTED PRICE

Fitted price is £ 645.78 including parts, labour and VAT - Always in stock and can be fitted same day.

I wonder what Bentley themselves charge to supply and fit this row of LEDs. (Maplins price 1p)

the original has a lip that sits under the edge off the glass, you have to use a very sharp knife and cut through the lip from above/outside the car you then need to drop the headliner and disconect the plug to the lamp and the cable will have got cut as you cut through the plastic lip, then fashin some sort of slide hammer with a self tapper end, drill your original brake light in three key places and slide hammer it up and off its fixing lugs, thats the old one off and out, you need to depin the new lamp and where the wire goes through under the rear glass you have to cut a channel under the glass through the sealer to thread the wire in.through this is a pain, when you have done this push wires through and bang new light back on original clips, plug wires back in under side and fill the gap for the wires that you cut through with sealer, headliner back in,

i think its a bodge job but thats what bentley do them selves now

Bentley Special Tool #233, some sort of slide hammer fashioned from a self tapper

Was that too obscure a reference?

That Phaeton coupe brakelights bollocks is just one more reason that the people driving P38's with fake Sport side grilles and lights will be rolling in one in a couple of years. All the bodged , Dulux white wedding cars in the world won't have damaged the image as much as these 200mph potential death traps on Chinese 4x4 tyres will when the steroid and tattoo brigade start running them with their dole money.

It is nice, though, would've been better with a tacky interior.

My God, ebay is really plumbing new depths of shit this week. From the 'period style' Roller to the Aston lookalike Cougar to the Veyron made of wob to the Porsche-eyed Beetle to that Astra thing, just when I think I've seen it all along comes something else that takes things to a whole new previously undiscovered level of pure unadulterated shittiness. I'm really starting to worry about the state of our society.

Those cars you mention are more commonly known as nothing more than 'spare parts'

It's hard times don't you know. When they've sold these they'll then be on the Jeremy Kyle show to raise some more cash!

'holographic paint finish'

Holograph: A holograph is a document written entirely in the handwriting of the person whose signature it bears.

In that case, if this doesn't have 'I AM A TASTELESS KNOB WARBLER'  in biro down the passenger side, I'm going to be surprised.

Lovely flatface, mind.

Oh my absolute days. You simply MUST buy that, Ian. It's just about the best Mk3 there is, possibly only eclipse-able by a white, itchy seated 1.4 SPi Merit or an SRi estate.

DO IT.
