Hang on, didn't those headlights only come on 280 SE 3.5s? My (brown!) 280SE just had the big glass lenses. JUNKMAN?

You could specify these "Export" headlights (actually meant for US spec sealed beams) for any Merc with the upright glasses. Outside the USA, they were fitted with dipped beam and main beam halogen headlamps, and cost extra. The reverse logic is, that you could get any W108/109 with the big glasses and Bilux bulbs, except the 300SEL 6.3, which came with the dual halogen lights as standard.

I am here to offer a car a bit 'special, rare to find in this condition even in Italy.

I chose to propose this car because I want to offer my experience of over a decade in the field of classic cars.
Experience in the management of British cars in Italy, where I have many contacts and friends.
I came to the conclusion that even in the UK, there are many fans of Italian cars, I'm choosing and suggesting some Italianproduction car with a standard of restoration or preservation of a high level.

I speak 4 languages, English, German, French and of courseItalian.

I can also use babelfish.

Like fuck it's 'private' it's the original and it's going on (probably) a non-transferable DVLA replacement.

Looks more like a pond find, in which case someone should throw the bloody horrible thing back in.

'The car was bought new by a Mr Terence Clangwank of Twatt. He purchased the vehicle from Knobweasel & Custard, a VW dealership in nearby Tigerspunk. He used it only to go to church, and the odd foray into the local forest where several interested choir boys were invited to play with his trouser snake. The car then lay unused, whilst Mr Clangwank spent his latter years in a special offenders unit at HMP Bastard in Herpes Bay. It was later recovered from his house during Operation Frosted Mop and I've just typed any old bollocks like the seller of this car has done.'

That stopped working pretty quickly. Nobody had accidentally put KNOB or TWAT in the ad so am trying a new angle. Lets see who is hawking their car using the most tenuous use of the word celebrity:

IT USED TO BELONG TO BIANCA GASCOIGNE (GAZZA'S DAUGHTER).

Who? I just looked her up online to see who she was and whether she had got her norks out in any jazzmags and I see that she is not even Gazza's daughter! I hope the person who buys it turns up with the cash, looks round it and does not buy because it was his step daughter.

Which daft bastard put that in there? It's like a lady's private parts now, someone's put the lunchbox right by the back end.

'After further research I have found out there are approximately 1700 A40s remaining so therefore becoming scarce as the years progress'

This Peugeot 207's are so shit this 2006 high spec one is pretty much being sold as spares for 700 quid as it needs an MOT.

I imagine it's hiding an unfixable electrical problem (and face it this seller can't even hold a camera the right wat up )as my mates Mrs had one that would have random electrical faults and every auto spark he called up said "sorry, don't do modern peugeot's mate".

What a shame it's got into that state, but at least there's a slim chance it'll get saved or had for parts now.
