That Nash is the find of the century, looks quite rotten but I hope someone takes it on and restores it, it's far too cool to be squirreled away or destroyed.

It makes no sense. The V8s sound superb and are lovely to drive, though performance is far more 2.4 than 3.8 equivalent. Most still wear hubcaps too, for extra bonus points. They are the Autoshite Mk2 Jag of choice.

I'd love to have a bash in one of the prototypes with the Majestic Major 4.5-litre V8.

Is the v8 a hemi in these or did I imagine that?

That would be correct, Sir.

We prepared a quite gutted shell with a Russ Carpenter built 4.5 for a friend of mine to enter it in the 2013 La Carrera, just to find out after we finished it, that it isn't eligible.

How's that for kicking oneself in the balls?

Purpleness, None as good as the Cortina's hue. But why is the nsf wheel further forwards than the osf?

Something about that suspension doesn't look right, especially as it's meant to be lowered. Then again it could be those awful tyres going the illusion that it's jacked up.

Yeah, particularly on the petrol flap.

Such attention to detail gives you confidence in the more important parts which have been removed, dismantled and refitted...

Has that Daimler got jag bumpers on it? The thin Daimler jobs look miles better.

Nope.

Both - Jaguars and Daimlers - switched to the slim bumpers in 1967.

Datsun Schmatsun, there's only one thing to check out in that picture.  I've made it tricky for you by rearranging the letters: Astar TGE.
