The Dunlops on that Dolomite have made me come over all faint. I reckon they'd look much better on a different un-MoT'd old Triumph saloon (see below)

There is something fantastically wonderful about a Senator/Royale.

 

They were the last barge that looked completely right parked outside a pub whilst its owner had a leisurely G&T on his way home from running Widget Engineering Limited.

 

Now its all just pushy 530d's and A6's permanently up your jacksy on the outside lane - no class at all.

Went for £840 which I think is enough to see it stay on the road rather than get broken for spares. Had agreed with Volksy down the pub the other night that if it went for under £550 we would have it and get it tested etc and sold on again as we could still turn a profit for our time still taking into consideration a resprayed bumper etc.  If I had not so may cars and so little room already I would have got it back for the missus as she really like it (which is odd for a car I own/have owned). I bet she would have driven it more than her Mazda 2. Maybe next time it comes up for sale.

The in laws had one of these for a while, unreliable but the best interior including the deepest carpets ever.

The motor and suspension was quite a combo as well, as power was applied then there would be a change in the view and rake angle like a motor boat picking up speed.

I'm currently finding it very hard to find a reason not to buy this, a fully loaded R5 with only 1 owner and 27k for £895ono and it's not a million miles away either, Just a lack of free cash and time (what with shitefest coming up) seems to be holding me back!
