Bought for £895 ten years ago, drives no better today and additionally comes with Essex bodges with which the current owner wishes to profit hugely.

Secretly like this sort of thing, would love to put things right, starting with the springs. Would then get stuck into sorting the rot,  before finding the thing runs like a dog and the money/time has run out to improve the dodgy cosmetics. So will sell on.

Still like it. Bet it goes for loads.

Seller forgot to add to his significantly-long description that he's looking to make a killing on this £150 bargain. Mentioning £2995 is not cricket.

I think he also forgot to mention that it's a barn find.

Desperate ploy to launder his wife with the old second hand car ploy

It's exactly this kind of stuff that prevents me from buying another BMW.

My past ownership experience is, that you constantly spend the equivalent of some very decent Autoshite on yet another major repair, until something so seriously major breaks, that you finally weigh it in, despite having thrown thousands at it already.

Good is different, if you don't wear BMW-tinted glasses.

Added to which, the picture clearly shows an irritated old giffer (no doubt once a BMW-sufferer) keying it.

Oh bloody hell, I might have to mither the parents about that Triumph 1500TC if it doesn't go for too much. DVLA says it wsa registered on 1/4/74 too, so it's right on the edge of tax exempt!

Now relisted for £1,475.00 BIN.

"THE CAR WAS DRIVEN INTO THE GARAGE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER BUT NOT BEEN RUN SINCE"

May as well say it was once driven off a car transporter into a car showroom, when new.
